Christchurch Football Club Young Ladies

“Providing a safe and enjoyable playing environment for girls to participate in football”

Christchurch FC Young Ladies began in 2003 and is part of Christchurch Football Club. CFCYL provides football for girls from U10’s – U16’s and also has a successful Ladies team in Hampshire Division 1. All the girls youth teams play in the New Forest Girls League, a local league that spreads from Christchurch to Portchester and up to Salisbury.

CFCYL U10’s and U12’s play at the picturesque setting of Riverway Recreation Ground in Christchurch, with the U14’s playing at the Grange school and U16’s at Chapel Gate. The Ladies are fortunate enough to play at Hurn Bridge sports ground – by far the best pitch in the league!

CFCYL’s ethos is to ensure that all girls who are part of the club learn and improve their football skills, through fun and constructive football training sessions. We encourage Parents and Grandparents, Aunties and Uncles, Brothers and Sisters to support the girls in a positive way on match days, with our emphasis on improving the players in an enjoyable and safe learning environment.

The club is open to girls off all abilities, whether you play for the school team and like to have a kick around with your friends, or you have never kicked a ball and want to give it a go, everyone is welcome!

Training takes place at the following times:

U10’s, U12’s, U14’s – Monday The Grange School 7pm – 8pm
U16’s – Thursday Shorefields 6pm – 7pm
Ladies – Tuesday Mudeford Wood Community Centre 7.30pm – 8.30pm
