Christchurch FC Youth Win Bankes Cup Final
In a superb match played at the Dorset County ground at Hamworthy the Under 18 team managed by Tony Bernard won the Bankes Cup Final.
On one of the hottest days of the year so far the Christchurch lads kept up a furious pace which would have all but the fittest exhausted.
Our opponents, Westland Youth, certainly matched the pace and played an equally determined game. A match played in the finest spirit of
which both clubs can be proud. Well done to all.
Presentation Evening 9th May 2008

The annual presentation evening was very well attended. It is always nice to reward the efforts of the players,
the teams, the coaches and all the people who put in so much effort to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
Well done to all and congratulations to all the award winners. The featured image is Tim Collins receiving his 'Clubman of the Year'
award from John Haynes. Further images from the presentation evening are in the image gallery.
Christchurch Reserves - Wessex Comb. One
With two matches in hand the Reserves needed to win either one to finish a successful season third in their division. One match (Moneyfields) is
still to be arranged the other against Lymington Town Reserves was played on the 1st of May at Brockenhurst FC. Its fair to say the lads did us proud
and claimed that 3rd place as theirs by beating Lymington Town Reserves 1 - 5. Well done to the team, managers, assistants and everybody who helped
to achieve this superb result from all at Christchurch FC.
